Our junior academy is a chance for the younger generation to be introduced to triathlon. All our sessions are fully supervised with qualified coaches and life guards on hand.
The sessions are open to children aged between 7 and 15. Parents/Carers of children aged over 8 are welcome to watch or to leave the children in our care, however children under the age of 8 must be accompanied at all times.
Can all parents not staying at the venue through out the session leave a contact number with a coach.
All members will be given a Junior Log Book for them to record times, information and achievements. Click here for more information on junior log books.
You do not need to book to come to our academy sessions, just turn up the first session is free!, if you enjoy it you can become a member.
Any advanced juniors are now invited to join in with the adults at the St Bede's session only, if you are new to the triathlon sessions I would advise trying a junior session first, if you feel this it too "easy" you can then join in with the next adult session. Please note: the adults sessions start at the earlier time of 1pm.
No one is under any pressure or pushed to do anything at the academy, you can do as much or as little as you like, if you struggle with anything there are always coaches on hand to help you out.
Hope to see you soon!
