  Dont Forget
It is a condition of membership within Cleveland Triathlon Club that ALL members marshal one of our events. Year after year it is the same people turning up to help, many of whom are not even club members. We would appreciate that once you have made your selection for the event you are willing to marshal you honor that commitment. Please be considerate to the event organisers who already have a hard enough job to do with out being let down at the last minute.
The cost of membership and entry fee's for events are kept low because of voluntary helpers, if we have to start paying for marshals the membership and event entry fees will increase. added 23-02-10

Club Kit
Club racing kit is now available to order. To make a hard job easier to start with we are only doing one piece Tri-Suits with mesh pockets on the back. They will be in roughly the same design and colors as we have now [Blue/orange/white]. However, the fit should suit far more people as the company  do women's and men's specific sizes. Children's suits will be sorted out separately. For ladies we need dress sizes e.g. 10 for the men we need height and waist measurements so the company can get an accurate fit. We are using the company Triathlonsuits.co.uk also know as swimwearonline.co.uk. The most you will have to pay for the suit is £30 but it may be a bit less than this. The club will pay any extra costs. This offer is open to members only so people need to make sure they have signed up for 2010 membership via Trihard to take advantage of this offer. Can members contact me by email on kath.blakey@ntlworld.com  or at swimming by 24/2/10 if you want to order. added 17-02-10

Loftus Poultry Run - 31st January 2010 - Loftus
Well there's not much to write about in the way of Triathlons lately so many of our members have taken to competing in runs to pass the hours away. The Poultry run eventually took place last Sunday, originally delayed due to the ice. The weather was cold and there was still lots of ice!. The run is described as having 3 challenging accents, it was hard to tell where one finished and one began, this was a very tough course, up hill was hard down hill was dangerous, I saw some moves Torvill and Dean would have been proud of. Thankfully all of our members completed with out incident and even got some poultry prizes to take home. Brian Roberts was 2nd Male Vet 50 in 51:29, Paul McGough did 53:58, Martin Shackelton did 59:03, Angel did 59:46, Diane Jobson did 01:01:18, Kath Blakey finished in 01:01:43 winning her age group, Amanda Mcleod did 01:06:22, Kay Stokes finished in 01:06:4, Joe Foley did 01:06:46 and finally Carol Murray did 01:08:20. Kath and Diane also won a team prize. Great run and if I forget how much it hurt I might even enter again next year. Amanda. added 02-02-10
