Grandprix Series Winners

Mark Young put in a great performance at Ironman Wales to secure his place as winner of the 40-49 age group and at the same time become the highest point scorer of all our members.  Although Graham Downs completed ten events (more than anyone else) his score only puts him second in this category, with Gordon Mitchell third.

Marty Smith has also been prolific this season completing more than the requisite five qualifying events (plus several others), and comfortably winning the 50-59 age group.  Also in this age group are Steven King who came second and Trevor Kime who came third.  The 60-69 category was won by Graham Currie with Tony Main in second place.

Impressively, Paige McLeod managed nine qualifying events while assembling a bigger score than any of her female rivals.  Danielle Colmer came second in the Junior category.  Caroline Wilson has also been a busy triathlete with eight events and winning the 40-49 category in the process.  Angela Ackerley came second.

Kath Blakey-Roberts has the biggest score in the 50-59 age group.  Pauline Johnson is in the same position in the 60-69 category with Kay Stokes second and Tricia Bell third.

Prizes will be awarded at the AGM on 10th November.  We look forward to seeing you there.
