All of our events carry a NO refunds policy.
NONE of our events accept entries on the day.
NONE of our events accept entries after the closing date.
When entering online and opting to pay by cheque you only have 14 days to pay then your name will be removed for the entrants list.
All entries are NON transferable.

How do I enter this event? - return to menu-
You enter this event on line by going to our events page and following the link to Tri-Hard.

What do I do if I have not received my race information? - return to menu-
Race information is not usually issued until shortly before the event; if your name appears on the list on Tri-Hard’s website then you are entered. If it gets to within a few days of the event please e-mail Clevelandtriathlon@hotmail.co.uk.

Is this a novice event? - return to menu-
The Steelman is hard event and would not be recommended for novices, however, people have competed this event as their first triathlon.

Do I have to wear a wet suit? - return to menu-
Yes, a wetsuit is mandatory for this event.

What facilities are available? - return to menu-
Camping is available on the night before the event, there is no need to book just turn up. There is a shower and toilet block. There will be a small charge for camping. Also very near to the camping site there is a café and shop.

What is the course? - return to menu-
Please refer to the course map section on the website.

Is the bike course hard? - return to menu-
The bike course is undulating.

When will the presentation be? - return to menu-
The presentation will be a short time after the last person has completed the course.

Can I appeal against the results? - return to menu-
The results will be pinned up for a short time before the presentation, this is your only chance to appeal to the race referee, after the event no changes can be made to the results.

Is drafting allowed? - return to menu-
As this event is run in accordance to the BTF rules drafting is not permitted and a time penalty will be issued. You can not appeal against this. Here is a copy of the rules.

When will the results be available? - return to menu-
The results will be published on our website the same or the following day.

Is there a time limit? - return to menu-
No, our marshals will stay out until the last person is back, people competing slowly and for charity are welcome.

Are drinks provided? - return to menu-
We can not guarantee there will be drinks provided as there is no official water source for our use. We can however obtain certain amounts of water from a local café and provide water stations where possible. It is in your best interests to make sure you have sufficient water with you to see you through the race. We have tables on the course where you can leave water bottle/food bars etc.

Are dogs allowed at the venue? - return to menu-
Dogs on leads are welcome at all our events.

The event is full, what can I do? - return to menu-
For this event you can be added to the reserve list. Go to www.trihard.co.uk, visit the "enter events" section, Click on Cleveland Steelman and enter as usual, when it comes to the paying section opt to pay be cheque (do not send one). You will be contacted if a place becomes available, you can then either pay by cheque or debit/credit card.

What type of run course is it? - return to menu-
The run is a two lap course mostly on road with some off road paths around the lake area. There is a map of the course in the course maps section of the website.
