For new members the first swim is free, if you enjoy it you can then join. CAN ALL NEW MEMBERS ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE SESSION IS DUE TO START. The swim sessions are structured by coaches who will be on hand for any guidance you require. There is no need to book these sessions, just turn up, introduce yourself and join in, doing as little or as much as you like. It is advisable you read the swimming etiquette in the information section of the web site before attending.

Ellerton Lake, Scorton (all times) - Bishopton Lake, Stockton on Tees (Tuesday 5-7pm)
Ellerton - £4.00 per session - pay in car park. Bishopton - £4.00 per session - pay in surf shop.
PLEASE NOTE WE/THE VENUE OFFER NO WATER SAFETY COVER ON THESE SESSIONS.
THESE SESSIONS ARE NOT OFFICIAL CLUB TRAINING SESSIONS AND YOU GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER AT BISHOPTON.

We recommend the following:
NEVER swim alone under any circumstances.  
Always wear a wetsuit designed for swimming in.  
Do not swim if the water temperature is less than 11 Degrees.  
If it is your first swim in open water please speak to one of our coaches before you go. They will advise you of the best time to go for advice and supervision.
Never swim unless you are fit and well with no known medical conditions that could make swimming unadvisable.
Be aware of all other lake users - This could include other swimmers, wind surfers, divers and fishermen. You need to have been swimming in a pool for at least 12 months and be able to swim at least 400m without stopping.
Please ask a club coach if you are unsure about any of the above.

 
 
Weekly Bike Sessions - adults and supervised juniors with road experience

This is now being held in conjunction with our junior academy. Head Coach - Tony Main British Triathlon Qualified Level 3, assisted by a number of our Level 2 coaches. The sessions include: Structured swim sessions: including video sessions and one to one coaching, cycle technique and turbo sessions, suitable for experienced and novice triathletes, Running training on the track, core and strength training sessions, Advice on how to get started if you want to complete a triathlon – e.g. open water swimming, wet suite advice, nutrition and much more. For more information e-mail or just come and join in. Parking on site is now only available at the front of the school or next door at Stockton 6th Form College.
