The event will start from 7.30 am and registration will open at 7.00 am in the foyer of the centre. You should register and collect your race number [and t-shirt if you requested one] at least 30 minutes before your start time. PLEASE BRING YOUR BTA LICENCE TO SHOW AT REGISTRATION (IF YOU HAVE ONE). This event is run on a time trial basis with the clock stopping between each discipline. You will be allowed a specific amount of time for changing and travel to starting positions. If this is your first triathlon, please be aware of the triathlon rules on www.britishtriathlon.org Swim - 400 metres: This will be 20 lengths of a 20 metre pool. Swimmers will set off at 1 minute intervals. Be ready on poolside 10 minutes before your start time and await instructions for your lane allocation. Bike - 15 miles: The start is opposite the Sporting Lodge, which is approx 2 miles from the sports centre. You may cycle to the start or park your car in the hotel car park. NO PARKING ON THE GRASS VERGE. This is a BTA sanctioned event. Approved helmets must be worn. No helmet, no race. Please wear your race number on your back for the bike and shout out your number as you cross the line so your time can be recorded. Please be nice to the marshals, who are giving up their free time to help you! Run - 3 miles: The run starts at the sports centre and will be one flat lap on pavements and some school fields. Your number should be clearly visible on the front of your running vest so the timekeeper can record your finishing time. Race Numbers: Please return your race number at the end of the race, as we need them for future events Refreshments: Limited refreshments available in the foyer centre. Prizes: To be presented at the discretion of Cleveland Biketraks Tri Club a.s.a.p. after the event. Results: Will be available A.S.A.P. on the results page of this website or in the post if you included a SAE with your entry. IMPORTANT Finally, take care and have a great race.
